COVID-19 Office Update

Changes to Keep You Safe

Some of the changes around the office due to COVID 19:

• We are seeing fewer patients at a time to respect social distancing.
• We are screening all our patients, taking temperatures, and requiring hand sanitizer before each appointment.
• We are limiting the number of family members in the office.
• We are scheduling specific appointments at special times to minimize the risk of transmission.
• We are using more Personal Protective Equipment - so we'll look different!
• We have N95 masks and disposable gowns along with goggles and face shields. In addition to the surgical masks and gloves that we've always worn.
• We are using different cleaning wipes that are proven effective against COVID 19 but take a little longer to work - so turnover between patients is a little slower.
• We have disposable barriers to protect surfaces that are hard to wipe down.
• We are using UV lights and a HEPA filter to clean parts of the office and our equipment.
• We've removed all the "touchable" things - magazines, stickers, LEGOs.
